Matchable earns its B Corp certification!

Matchable is proud to be a Certified B Corp - an international network of companies balancing purpose and profit.

We are excited to announce that Matchable has earned its B Corporation certification, joining a global movement of over 2500 companies from 50 countries, including some of our favourites like Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, and our friends at Ella’s Kitchen, using business as a force for good.

As a company dedicated to helping impact organisations further their goals, among them a handful of B Corps themselves, it only made sense that we should walk the walk and prove our own commitment to social good as well. Becoming a B Corp requires us to pay as much attention to our social and environmental impact as we do to profit, and we must improve our B Corp score each year to demonstrate our progress - we think we’re up to the challenge!

“When Matchable first began, one of our goals was always to become a B Corp and today we’re finally certified! We’re so excited to have reached such a great certified score in our first year and to be able to join such an amazing community of companies like Ben & Jerry’s, Patagonia, Allbirds, Innocent and of course, Ella’s Kitchen, in showing how important social purpose is to our company (and that balancing profit and purpose can definitely be done!!). We truly believe purpose driven companies that have impact at their core will be the companies of the future, and we're so pleased B Corps are setting the standard!” - Wai Foong Ng, Founder and CEO of Matchable

What is a B Corp?

Only businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose can become certified as B Corps.

The community is required to put as much effort into improving their social and environmental impact as they do to revenue, and to be re-certified every three years.

We’re so excited to have reached such a great certified score in our first year and to be able to join such an amazing community of companies in showing how important social purpose is to our company.
