The BGC Team Repair A Local Children’s Playground

As part of their ongoing philanthropic efforts, interns and school leavers from BGC, a leading global brokerage and financial technology company, took part in another corporate volunteering day!

Employees got out of the office and headed over to a children’s adventure playground in Lewisham to assist with general maintenance of the playground, the play structure repairs and tidying the grounds to ensure the facilities can be used again by the local children and young people.

The playground was built in 2008 with support from The Big Lottery Fund, and is an invaluable part of the local community!

This was a rewarding opportunity for the BGC team to give something back to their community, and create an inspiring memory with their colleagues.

Priti Patel, Talent Development Manager at BGC said:

”Philanthropy has been part of BGC Group and Cantor Fitzgerald for many years and we were delighted once again to give back to our local communities in London”
