Diversily is an impact organisation on a mission to help organisations become more inclusive. Through their tailored training workshops and strategy + consulting services, they help business leaders empower high performing, inclusive & innovative teams that deliver results.

They help organisations to become human-centred, purpose-driven and to leverage diversity and inclusion as a key lever for success, and we’re proud to be supporting them with skilled volunteers through Matchable!

The Project

Professional designers Carla Ruiz Martinez at Bippit, and Caroline Pay at Dentsu were searching for a project that would allow them to utilise their years of creative design and branding experience to create a positive impact in their community.

Out of a range of branding and design volunteering projects on the platform, they matched with Diversily, who were looking specifically for assistance with refreshing their look online, and really nailing their brand identity.

They were looking for volunteers to examine their current brand identity, story and design and give feedback on potential areas for improvement, as well as support in designing a new logo.

In just a few hours of their paid volunteering time, and completely remotely, Carla and Caroline were able to breath new life into Diversily’s brand!

With the support of these wonderful designers who believe in the cause, Diversily has undergone a real transformation – a rebrand that captures the essence of who they are as an organisation, and what they stand for.

At the heart of their rebrand is a new logo, a visual representation of Diversily’s commitment to celebrating individuality and embracing diversity. The new logo features a unique mark made up of ripples resembling a fingerprint. This symbolises the distinctive nature of each person – a reminder that every individual brings something special to the table and that we are stronger together.

The volunteers designed the logo so that the mark is housed in a backwards D that mirrors the D in Diversily, representing the idea that it is OK to be different.

It’s so inspiring to see the impact employees can have through just a few hours of remote volunteering, providing creative services many of our nonprofit and impact partners would otherwise not be able to afford.

This new brand and visual identity from the volunteers will undoubtably help Diversily to attract more support and widen their impact, fostering more inclusive and diverse business practices.
