BOOK A MATCHABLE LAUNCH EVENT 🚀
We are happy to hold a launch event (typically 30 minutes) for you and your team, which will include:

Q&A session
Optional: We can also invite the founder of an impact organisation to join us and talk about their projects that need volunteers - this is a great way to get employees inspired and excited to get matched!
We recommend holding the launch event during an all hands meeting to ensure as many attendees as possible. We find that it is best to hold this event 1-2 weeks before your access to Matchable begins, which allows you to build momentum pre-launch and gives employees time to visit the landing page and sign up in advance. Alternatively, the event can also be held on the day your access begins, to officially mark the launch and encourage your team to visit the platform.

TEAM CHAMPIONS PICK A PROJECT
We find that having senior staff or team Matchable ‘champions’ visibly engaged and picking up a project helps to encourage others to do the same. After being matched with a project we recommend that one or two volunteers share their experience of being matched in an all-hands. We’ve seen that this can really drive engagement and also encourages teams to volunteer together for team projects!
While it sets a great example to have senior staff volunteer, it is also important to emphasise that all skill levels are welcome to pick up a project at Matchable. Less experienced employees shouldn’t feel that they need a CEO or Manager’s level of experience to volunteer!
ENCOURAGE TEAMS TO VOLUNTEER TOGETHER 👯♀️
For some the idea of volunteering alone can be daunting. Many of our projects can be completed by a team working together with the impact organisation, which also helps to split the work! For example, the marketing team could arrange a session to plan a new digital marketing campaign for a non-profit, all contributing their own expertise and ideas. Team leads and managers should be encouraged to suggest team projects.
