WHAT
Roleshare is a startup whose goal is to enable a sustainable workforce, where people get more from their roles, and where full-time balance in work and life is normal – regardless of the reason. They enable a sustainable workforce by helping people connect and combine their collective skills, strengths, and experiences to join up for exciting and fulfilling shared roles.
Roleshare.com is a smart matching site for shared roles with a founding team with experience from facebook, PayPal, eBay, moonpig, tes, and gumtree.
WHO
Roleshare is using Matchable to hunt for an individual who will work with them to research and quantify the benefits of shared roles, or as they also call them micro-teams. Qualitative research so far, based on interviews of managers of shared roles and individuals sharing roles, leads to the following hypothesis: “successful” shared roles drive higher “productivity gains” for companies than the same roles performed by a single individual.
The purpose of the research is to educate people and companies (via quantitative measures) about the productivity gains of shared roles / micro-teams for 1. companies and 2. for the individuals in those arrangements. The research would act as education and thought leadership on behalf of Roleshare.com and the research partner.
