Growd is an innovative EdTech startup aiming to increase every child's academic achievements by linking them to co-curricular educational activities. So whether it’s taking a violin lesson that will increase your child’s ability in maths or playing football that will increase their mental agility, they've got the research and ability to recommend the best extra-curricular activity to compliment and boost their performance.
We matched Angie Madara, the founder of Growd, with the Deals team at Outward VC, the VC arm of Investec. Outward invest in Series A+ fintech startups, with their portfolio including successful scale-ups like Curve and Monese.
Three of the Deals team at Outward VC, Dominic Nolan, D’Arcy Whelan and Jack Moore took the time to review and provide detailed feedback on Growd’s pitch deck as Growd prepared for their latest fundraising round. Their experience receiving and reviewing numerous pitch decks for fintechs daily was put to great use for a great cause, with Growd going on to win a UK Innovate grant.
