IN APRIL 2019, WE MATCHED JAMES’ PLACE WITH CITY LAW FIRM, PAUL HASTINGS.
James’ Place approached us to help find them help with two legal projects, one on GDPR and the other was a full review of their legal structure. We were keen to support the incredible work that James’ Place do, providing safe spaces for men in suicidal crisis in university towns.
We knew that the team at Paul Hastings cared deeply about supporting charities in the mental health space and, upon hearing the story behind James’ Place and their ambitions to open safe spaces in as many university towns as possible, they offered to support James’ Place not only with these two legal projects, but with every single project thereafter - becoming their official pro bono lawyers!
