IN EARLY 2019, WE MATCHED THE BRITISH RED CROSS WITH CITY LAW FIRM, ASHURST.
With the advent of cryptocurencies and the increasing number of philanthropists making donations in Bitcoin, the British Red Cross were keen to explore the legalities of accepting cryptocurrency as a form of donation. They approached us to help find them a dynamic legal team to help them explore this exciting and new area.
Ashurst’s cryptocurrency team are known as one of the best in the City and their pro bono team were keen to engage their lawyers in more innovative and forward-looking pro bono projects, so when we made the introductions, it was a great fit.
