A Matchable Volunteering Report
2023 Impact Report
2023 was an incredible year for us at Matchable, and also for corporate volunteerism as a whole! With the mounting pressure from the public for brands to operate responsibly, and the rampant greenwashing we’re seeing across the board, truly conscious businesses are looking for effective ways to create real impact in their local communities and with global causes in a bigger way than ever before.
Employee volunteering is no longer just a tool to tick the social or environmental impact box. It’s become an essential policy for any business wanting to stay competitive both in terms of public perception, and attracting and maintaining top talent.
Research shows that Employee turnover drops by an average of 57% when employees are deeply connected to their companies’ volunteering efforts.
In this report we will summarise the impact created through our clients’ volunteering on the Matchable platform in 2023, as well as touch on the current state of corporate volunteerism, and why skills-based volunteering is the future.
