4D Sustainability + Paul Hastings

WE MATCHED SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANCY 4D SUSTAINABILITY CANVAS WITH CITY LAW FIRM, PAUL HASTINGS.

4D Sustainability Canvas are a consultancy offering a smart solution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to incorporate sustainability into their business models. Their 3-step model helps SMEs overcome some of the initial barriers that small businesses encounter in trying to embed sustainable practices, including lack of finance or expertise, and the complexity of the field.

They also have ambitious plans to build a dashboard for clients to record and monitor their sustainability goals in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The team at 4D Sustainability were looking for strategic advice and support on their business model, including planning for the upcoming year and formulating a pricing model that would allow them to be sustainable as a business themselves.

We matched them with city law firm Paul Hastings, who not only helped them with their business strategy, but also advised them on licensing their tools so that they could create a new and more sustainable income stream while maintaining their ambition to help small companies for free.

We’re big fans of the team at Paul Hastings here at Matchable - as they have picked up projects with us in the past with fantastic results!

We have assisted 4D Sustainability Canvas in preparing several license agreements which allowed them to licence their unique and smart sustainability solutions to the various SMEs and organisations on their online platform.

It has been a pleasure to work and assist on such an impactful project which aims to promote social responsibility and environmental sustainability in businesses. We are thoroughly looking forward to working with 4D going forward on their other ambitious plans to make businesses more responsible and sustainable.

Our aim as for any start-up is to achieve financial sustainability. While we offer free services and tools to make sustainability available for many companies, we also need a continuous income stream to be able to expand our mission and impact. We will be able to license our methodology and tools to consultancies and partners thanks to the license agreements Paul Hastings prepared for us, we expect this to be a one of the main pillars of our business model.
