RSPCA + Trendwatching

IN DECEMBER 2019, WE MATCHED THE UK’S LARGEST ANIMAL WELFARE CHARITY, THE RSPCA, WITH INNOVATION CONSULTANTS, TRENDWATCHING.


The RSPCA’s Innovation Team were looking to align their strategy with the wider innovation that is happening in the charity and pet sector, and in particular were keen to explore the latest trends and transformational thinking happening in the pet tech space in order to generate ideas for new products and campaigns for 2020.

 

We matched them with Trendwatching,  the world’s leading and most loved trend firm, who specialise in identifying consumer trends before they happen through their network of over 25,000 Trendwatchers across the world.

 

The Trendwatching team hosted the RSPCA for a half day workshop where they did a deep dive into 5 consumer trends which the RSPCA could immediately start applying to existing and new products. Interesting discussions ensued using Trendwatching’s Consumer Trend Canvas and Interactive Toolkit.

The workshop ended with a renewed focus, and (we hope!) the next big idea for the RSPCA! Watch this space in 2020!
